[Photo] UFC 144: Japan - Anime Poster & Complete Fight Card

The UFC makes it’s triumphant return  to the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday February 25. It has been years since Japan’s own Pride FC ruled the World of Mixed Martial-Arts as the number one promotion, but UFC President Dana White is aiming to bring back the excitement to what was once the epicenter of MMA.

UFC 144 features a stacked card featuring nearly every notable Japanese fighter on the UFC roster including Hatsu Hioki, Norifumi Yamamoto, Takanori Gomi, Michihiro Omigawa, Takeya Mizugaki, Yushin “Thunder” Okami and “Mr. Sexiyama” himself Yoshihiro Akiyama, a bout between two prominent light-heavyweights in Ryan Bader vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and is headlined by the Lightweight Championship of the World as Frankie “The Answer” Edgar looks to go to war with a very game Benson “Smooth” Henderson”.

I’m fucking psyched, and I am one of those people who believe that the Japanese people as a whole still have more respect and admiration for my sport than any other culture… so hell yeah. Full fight card and official poster are below.
